NEWTS are activities at Wrockstock that require you to sign up for them in advance and some will also need you to pay an extra $5-$15 dollars to participate. Not all NEWTS are available for all ages either.

This years NEWTS are:
Racing Broom Test Drive: Hop on a broom and fly a few hundred feet at speeds of about 20-40mph. How does this work you say? Magic! (and lots of ropes and harnesses) Must be at least 13 to participate, costs $10.
Care of Magical Creatures: Go for a one-hour guided horseback ride thru the hills and see the property from a whole new perspective. Must be at least 10 years old and under 250 pounds to ride, costs $15.
S.P.E.W. Work Day: Come help the house elves do the laundry, but be careful not to mix up the colors!! We'll be making tie-dye t-shirts, socks, whatever you want, just bring a clean, white garment. All ages, $12.
Flora and Fauna with Professor Sprout: Go on a one-hour guided nature walk thru the hills surrounding the Lodge. All ages, free.
Target Practice with the Centaurs: Spend some time practing your archery skills. Must be at least 5 years old, free.
The Search for the Giant Squid: Take a lesiurely 1/2 hour cruise around the 360 acre lake on a pontoon boat. All ages, free.
